CASI Chair - Lisa Schuette
Lisa is a Carson City native who grew up in a home full of rescued animals. At the moment she and her husband Steve share their home with Hank, a destructive but lovable 105 lb. lab mix who believes the world is his playground.
As the founder of CASI, Lisa is committed to "Building Shelter, Building Community" by providing opportunities for everyone to become a part of a solution of compassion. Lisa serves on the board of directors of Smile for a Lifetime, a non-profit that helps students in need get braces, and The Ron Wood Family Resource Center. Additionally, Lisa is an Outreach Manager with Humane Network's Maddie's Nevada Campaign.
CASI Vice Chair - Patti Stewart
Patti grew up in the San Jose area and worked for Pacific Bell for thirty years. After retiring in 2001 she and her husband Paul packed up their motorhome with their pets and set off to see America. Looking for a smaller community they settled in Carson City in 2007 and are really enjoying all the outside activities with their two goldens, Laci 12 & Abby 2.
"While volunteering at the animal shelter I heard about CASI working to build a new shelter. I knew this was the place for me. Now that the shelter is built I look forward to working with CASI in the community on new opportunities to help animals."
CASI SECRETARY - ROBIN PONTE
Robin has lived in Carson City since 1981. She and her husband John currently share their home with a goofy rescue dog named Buddy. Robin works for the State of Nevada and is an avid golfer and runner.

CASI Treasurer- Sandy Osheroff
Sandy shares her home with Linda, the cutest rescue dog on the planet.
After dedicating 20 years to her private accounting business, Sandy retired in 2011 to spend more time doing the things she enjoys such as gardening travel, and helping her community.
In addition to her work with CASI, Sandy is the budget and membership chair for the Friends of the Carson City Library.
